Diocesan Council of Catholic Women Society
All women in the parish are welcome to join the Altar & Rosary Society. The A&R Society is divided into circles which provide opportunities for fellowship and volunteerism. There are currently four circles in the A&R Society.
PURPOSE OF THE ALTAR & ROSARY SOCIETY
Section 1:
The National Council of Catholic Women acts through its membership to support, empower, and educate all Catholic women in spirituality, leadership, and service.
Section 2:
The society shall assist in furnishing and caring for the altars and the vestments of the priests and acolytes. All articles necessary for Divine services shall be the concern of the Society.
Section 3:
Further, the Society shall serve the parish and the community within its capability.
- Service may be rendered in the form of personnel or money.
- Where service involves a monetary consideration, the decision on the expenditure shall be in the hands of the Board of Directors.
SPIRITUAL BENEFITS OF MEMBERS
There are six yearly masses said for living and deceased members of the Altar & Rosary Society.
